Starry Starry Night!
Just came inside from taking the dogs out.
This.
Was.
So.
COOL.
2:15 or so a.m., I'm stepping off the porch with Ebby, Sweetie and Bree and was just walking outside. I cast a glance at my neighbors house and see a short quick flash of light. I think to myself, "Cool. Shooting star!" I walk on out into the front yard, to the road that is -ever- too close to my house and cast my eyes up towards the left. Or, northeast of where I was standing. Another longer flash of light that curved. I went nuts! I thanked God enthusiastically over what I was seeing! My first ever meteor shower! Then, as I continued to gaze up to the sky while the dogs picked and piddled, taking their time, there was another one! Right above my head! Longer this time and still curved with the atmosphere! This was so amazing!
Thank you, Lord! It was -awesome-! <3
Edit: The next night, when I took the dogs out again, there was one more that was right over my head and I got to see it. Thank you, Lord! That is -neeeeaat-!
